CB Specialty Services

CB Specialty Services was originally started in 2008 immediately after Anthony graduated from college. The first clients were mostly families coming on vacation to Crested Butte and needed a point of contact to handle all their vacation planning. A major component of that was finding the right lodging accommodations. Usually grocery delivery was requested along with transportation from the airport and all daily activities such as ski lessons, dogsled tours, horseback rides, etc.

Within the first year in business, CB Specialty Services became the preferred grocery delivery service for such high end properties as the West Wall Lodge, the San Mortiz and Crested Butte Lodging. Although grocery delivery became the most common requested service, Specialty Services was open to just about anything, and the requests were coming in in all forms. Many young men would call for assistance with planning a surprise engagement proposal for their girlfriends. Couples would hire the concierge service to plan an elopement wedding. Corporate groups would call on Anthony to organize all functions, meals, AV equipment and recreational activities. Ski groups would ask for assistance with welcome parties. Families would request help with surprise birthday parties. Aside from groceries, other deliveries would include prescriptions from the pharmacy, champagne on ice, birthday cakes, prepared meals and even Christmas trees. There was clearly a need for this service and CB Specialty Services was filling the void quickly and affordably.

CB Specialty Services sold to Sharon Duran and Alfred Tafoya in 2017 and now includes housekeeping services! You can find more information about CB Specialty Services at CBSpecialtyServices.com or call 970-279-1109.

When CB Specialty Service celebrated its one-year anniversary, Anthony realized it was time to offer more in-house services and transportation was clearly the next best selling service. What started as one SUV picking up passengers from the Gunnison airport turned into a four-vehicle operation with SUVs and Vans driving passengers all over the state.

CB LIMO was frequently called on by all the high profile travelers to the area seeking rides from their private jet to their rental homes. Destination wedding groups would contract with CB LIMO to transport all their guests to and from the wedding site. Many locals would use the service to go downtown for an evening of dining and entertainment. When the weather would move in, and flights were cancelled, the phone would ring off the hook with travelers looking to be driven from Crested Butte to Denver so they could catch a flight back home. Whatever the need or the destination, CB LIMO was there to save the day.

CB LIMO sold to Alpine Express in 2018 and is now part of a 100-vehicle fleet. More information can be found online at CrestedButteLimo.com or by calling 970-901-6400.

Web Design & Digital Marketing

Throughout 10 years of running his own business, Anthony has learned the tricks and tactics to properly market a business on the modern-day web. Some of the areas that help a business shine are interactive websites filled with useful photos and information, search engine optimization, business listings on Google, Bing, Yelp, Trip Advisor and other local sources, Google and Bing ad campaigns and proper use of social media. The internet is constantly changing and businesses need to take advantage of so many free or low-cost options to position their business ahead of the lagging competition.

Although Anthony learned C++,  HTML and Search Engine Optimization back in the early 2000's, since then, the world of marketing has been an ever-changing environment.  Fortunately, it has changed for the better! Print ad has gone digital. Websites are no longer for the tech nerds. Social media has allowed new companies to build brand awareness in a fraction of the time it used to take.

Anthony helped the following businesses better their online presence and the list is constantly growing:
